LIGHT WAVE designs was established by Jenna Wermes who specializes in creating life designed interiors.
F O U N D E R
Jenna began her academic career at California State University, Chico as a student-athlete before transferring to San Francisco State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
Following graduation, she relocated to the Big Island of Hawai‘i—an experience that became the foundation and inspiration behind Light Wave Designs. The island’s natural beauty, relaxed rhythm, and spirit of Aloha have deeply influenced Jenna’s design perspective, shaping her ability to create refined, innovative living environments that reflect both place and lifestyle.
Jenna works closely with discerning homeowners and dedicated business owners, providing a high level of service, clear communication, and a meticulous attention to detail throughout every phase of a project.

"My inspiration has always been rooted in the ocean. It has influenced not only my design perspective, but also my passion for surfing and outdoor exploration. When I’m not designing or meeting with clients, you’ll find me in the water or along the shoreline, continually drawing inspiration from the landscape.
Many of my designs reflect the essence of the ocean—whether through open, expansive layouts, or materials and palettes that echo the tones of the sea and sky. Living on the Big Island of Hawai‘i provides an endless source of inspiration that I bring into each project.”
